M. A. Majekodunmi Foundation in its mission to empower young girls and women in Ogun State, provided eight women with tools of trade and seed capital to start their entrepreneurship journey after a year of training.
The skills offered during the training are : Shoe making, Fashion Design, Catering, Auto Mechanics, Hair-dressing etc, this initiative is for young girls and women in Ogun State who can read and write but do not have a sustainable means of income to feed themselves and their families. Interested beneficiaries send their names, address, interested skill, phone number and other relevant details to the Foundation by possible consideration and selection for the training programme.
After a rigorous selection process, eight women were selected and commenced their training at different institutes of their chosen skill. The Program ended on Tuesday , 19th June 2025 completing a year training from 2024.
Well wishers and family members were present to celebrate with the graduates and appreciate the Foundation for their impact, support and financial aid during the training period. Invited guests include Director of NABTEB (National business & Technical Examinations Board) & Gentlemen of the Press.
